Profile
The Landscape Architectural Practice was established in the 1980’s by Elizabeth Ford, who had previous employment as a Landscape Architect with Durham County Council; London Borough of Greenwich and as County Landscape Architect for Hampshire County Council.
The Practice acts as consultant landscape architects to Local Authorities.
Elizabeth Ford is the Principal of the Practice and supervises all projects. The Practice, which offers a wide range of professional services, has a system that has enabled us to comply with all completion dates and therefore to abide by promised start dates.
We have experience of undertaking major projects notably Burton Park Restoration in Sussex; a noise reduction bund between a main railway line and a village in Bedfordshire; a landscape masterplan for a new development of apartments in Harrow, Middlesex; as well as a number of management projects for Housing Associations.
When designing landscapes we always aim to improve the biodiversity, by using materials from sustainable sources, recycling water and providing shelter for birds, insects and mammals. These practices all aid in getting a rating against the code for Sustainable Homes.
